Since 1962, the mission of the Tampereen Kotilinnasäätiö foundation has been to promote and support the at-home living of elderly people in the Tampere region. We select tenants based on their financial need.

Our operations are self-sustained. In practice, this means optimising rents so that our operations are financially balanced. According to the rules of Kotilinnasäätiö, our activities must be organised such that rent and other payments are competitive. We do not receive any taxes or other public support for our operating expenses.
